Document Description
The project entrails the construction of a 11,522sf two-story single family dwelling with a 3,475sf (below grade) basement, an 872sf two car garage, 5,569sf of covered outdoor living area, 6,040sf of patios and terraces, a 908-sf- three-car detached garage, a 596.8sf garden shed with a 66.2sf covered porch, a 778sf Caretaker Unit with 305 sf of covered outdoor living area, a 772sf Farm Employee Unit with 214sf of covered outdoor living area, a 1,006sf farm employee/caretaker garage with a 217sf mechanical room, a 2,850 barn with a 140sf storage/mechanical room, and an 81sf gatehouse with a 74sf trash enclosure. The main residence includes an office, guest suite, studio, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, mud room, butler's quarters, and kitchen. The basement will include 2,302sf of habitable space including a theatre, snack bar, cavern, wine grotto and storage closet. All of the proposed structures except for the gatehouse and trash enclosure are located on Assessor's Parcel Number 157-131-002. The project also includes a Coastal Development Permit to allow the recordation of a record of survey to establish building envelopes or a "homeland boundary" for the property.
