The project consists of a 179,080sf expansion comprised of a two level medical building and a new 4 story bed tower. The project would be located within the visitor parking lot and connected to the hospital with pedestrian walkways on 3 levels. A total of 92 patient beds are proposed along with a 53,133sf emergency department, conference rooms, renovated lobby, and a new central plant and maintenance rooms. Revisions to on-site parking and existing landscaping are proposed. A Corrected Heliport Permit was issued to change the existing take-off path to match the existing approach path. All structural elements of the project would be built within the limits of the hospital campus. Minor changes to access and circulation are proposed to the primary hospital entrance and to off-site driveways located south of San Bernardino Road.
