Document Description
The City has undertaken its Water Conservation Plant Upgrade Project, which will increase the quality of the City's recycled water to Title 22 standards. The project would include development of a recycled water pipeline from the City of Visalia Water Conservation Plant to the distribution facilities of the Tulare Irrigation District, whereby recycled water generated by the plant would be put to beneficial use by Tulare Irrigation District for agricultural purposes. In exchange, the Tulare Irrigation District would provide the City of Visalia with surface water supplies that the City will use to replenish the overdrafted groundwater basin upon which the City is located.
