EMWD intends to expand its existing recycled water storage system on Trumble Road to maximize the use of recycled water within its service area, to reduce the use of imported water (i.e., Colorado River and State Water Project), to reduce the use of groundwater in overdrafted basins, and insure the reliability of agricultural and landscape irrigation supplies.
