Document Description
NOTES: Review per Lead The proposed project consists of the construction of approximately 2,106 linear feet of sewer main within three EMWD easements, City of Murrieta right-of-way, and Caltrans ROW. The sewer main would connect to the existing 18-inch diameter sewer line in Las Brisas Road west of I-215, then extend northeast by open trench; travel underneath an adjacent (unnamed) intermittent creek and Interstate 215 by micro-tunneling or jack and bore drilling; and then join the existing 15-inch sewer main in Whitewood Road east of I-215. Upon completion, the proposed project would relieve existing capacity deficiencies; enhance wastewater system safety and reliability by connecting the two sewer systems; increase operational flexibility by creating redundancy within the wastewater conveyance system; and build sustainable infrastructure thereby providing long-term benefits for the EMWD service area.
