Document Description
The proposed project is for the construction of a 40gpm Tertiary Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Idyllwild Water District. The project will utilize the treated wastewater effluent produced by the Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) in the Water District and will treat & disinfect it to Tertiary Standards so that the water can be reused for irrigation & landscaping by the customers of the Water District. New construction will include a new tertiary treatment plant next to the existing POTW and pressurized pipeline distribution system. In addition to normal operations, the project is expected to provide landscaping/irrigation/agriculture water during water emergencies and droughts.
