Document Description
The CA DFG is issuing an Agreement regarding the Stream Alteration to the project applicant, City of Vista Housing & Redevelopment Department. The project is limited to the construction and routine maintenance of a two-acre detention basin. The detention basin will attenuate the peak flow of storm water runoff from a 928 acre tributary area of the Buena Vista Creek Watershed (known as BVC-T1). The proposed detention basin is designed to lower peak flows just upstream of the confluence of Buena Vista Creek and BVC-T1 in order to reduce flooding of a number of properties within the Downtown Vista Specific Plan Area (SPA).
