Amendment to the Land Use Element map of the Delano General Plan from "Community Facilities" to "Industrial" on 52 +/- acres: construction of a 530,00 square foot Clementine variety orange packing and shipping facility, 8,500 square foot bin-wash covered slab, 35,000 square foot office space, and 400 employee parking spaces. A land transfer between the City of Delano and project proponent will be effected to accomodate changes to an adjacent drainage basin. Adjacent street improvements, and minor off-site water and sewer infrastructure upgrades will be completed in conjuction with the packing plant project.
