Document Description
In 2007, the Yuciapa Valley Water District (District) began operation of the Yucaipa Valley Regional Water Filtration Facility (YVRWFF), a 12-million gallons per day (mgd) water treatment facility located in the City of Yucaipa, San Bernardino County, California, to provide drinking water to the community. The YVRWFF currently utilizes micro-filtration (MF) and nano-filtration (NF) to produce drinking water that meets regulatory requirements. The District is proposing to add a second NF process train to existing treatment facilities at the YVWFF, which would further treat the existing concentrate generated in order to minimize the volume of concentrate discharged to the Wochholz Regional Water Recycling Facility (WRWRF) through the existing wastewater collection system.
