Document Description
Issue a 4 ft wide by 6.25 mile long underground easement to AT&T within the road bed of State Highway 9 traversing Saratoga Gap and the junction of State Highway 236 at Waterman Gap in Castle Rock State Park to install fiber optic cable and approximately 15 maintenance vaults. AT&T will notify DPR at least 48 hours prior to performing any work, including routine maintenance, within the easement boundaries. Advance notice is not required when responding to an emergency; however, DPR will be notified as soon as feasible after AT&T personnel arrive at the site. All work conducted within the boundaries of the easment, including routine maintenance will comply with all State and Federal environmental laws, including but not limited to the Endangered Species Act, CEQA, and Section 5024 of the Public Resources Code, with regard to work conducted within the easement. This easement will provide legal access and use of this property to the AT&T, while protecting resources.
