Document Description
The project includes bank stabilization at the existing Sandy Beach Sanitary Pump Station. The project includes excavating a 32-foot long key trench and removing approximately 25 cubic yards of soil material below the high tide line. The trench and slope will be lined with filter fabric. Approximately 145 cubic yards (360 square feet) of 0.5 ton rock rip-rap will be placed on the bank for erosion protection. Work will be performed at low tide. Base rock (0.75-inch) will be used to backfill a 10 square-foot area. Minor grading will be conducted to be used for pedestrian access to the public portion of the beach. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2010-0023-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
