Document Description
The Department of Public Works proposes remove the existing bridge over Robinson Creek and replacement the Arbor Road Bridge with a new structure. The new bridge will clear span Robinson Creek. Removal of the existing concrete structure with its center support column will allow free flow of creek water and will no longer trap debris. There will not be any expansion to the county structure or road way. All other concrete structures shall be left in place and re-utilize. All work shall be done from the roadway, thus not disturbing any sensitive species or habitat. The Department of Public Work does not anticipate the need to put equipment into the creek channel. The Department of Public Work will use all appropriate BMP's to trap and remove any debris from the creek channel and prevent erosion from any disturbed soil. All materials from the old bridge shall be either recycled or disposed of at the county's landfill.
