Reasons for Exemption
The project is located at existing bus stop locations that have minimal improvements. The existing stops are in disturbed road shelter areas, all within existing rights of way. The exisitng facilities are being improved so that they are covered and accessible. Protection from the elements will encourage transit ridership. The structures are simple and small, each supporting approximately 12 people at one time.
