Document Description
The purpose of the Project are to: 1) engage alfalfa, cotton and almond farmers in the Lower San Joaquin River watershed to implement proven biologically based farming practices (agricultural BMPs and integrated pest management practices), 2) reduce or eliminate the use of pesticides containing diazinon and chlorpyrifos, and 3) help achieve the numeric water quality objectives for diazinon and chlorpyrifos under total maximum daily load in the Project area.
