Document Description
This project consists of the replacement and installation of an artificial wetland. This will replace the one that was installed approximately 3 years ago but was unsustainable because of location, soil profile and drainage that caused safety and public health issues. The new location would be situated at the lowest point in Old Town at the southern most point of the Native Plant Garden at the intersection of Congress St. and Old Beach Road. The site would drain into a concrete inlet so there will be no standing surface water. The wetland would be approximately a 20' X 30' oval with a minimum 1'6" to 2' depression.
