Document Description
The Susanville Sanitary District (SSD) expanded its wastewater treatment plant in 2000. An Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) was completed for the project at the time, in accordance with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) State Revolving Fund guidelines. Currently, the SSD is proposing the installation of a tertiary filtration system, consisting of a traveling bridge filter, as well as UV radiation disinfection system. The new facilities would be located in an existing emergency storage pond.
