Document Description
The proposed Project would dig two (2) drilling pits, one (1) on each side of and approximately 50 feet from the unnamed tributary, for directional drilling entry and exit sites. Horizontal directional drilling would be used to install a 6-inch diameter gas line and a 6-inch diameter electric conduit approximately 4 to 5 feet below the surface of the unnamed streambed, using bentonite drilling fluid for lubricant. Equipment used will include an excavator, directional drilling rig, and associated equipment.
