Document Description
The City of Pleasant Hill has prepared a draft update to the Housing Element in the City of Pleasant Hill General Plan addressing the seven-year period from 2007 to 2014. The current Housing Element was adopted by the City Council on July 21, 2003. The updated Housing Element identifies and analyzes existing and projected housing needs for population groups within the incorporated area of the City of Pleasant Hill, and it provides a statement of goals, policies, quantified objectives, and documented programs for the preservation, improvement, and development of housing within the incorporated area. The Housing Element is mandated by California Government Code Section 65580 and it is subject to review and certification by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD).
