NOTES: Review per Lead
The Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) is a transportation planning document prepared by the Lake County/City Area Planning Council (APC). The Plan provides a vision of regional transportation goals, objectives and policies (short and long term). The RTP considers all modes of travel, including autos, trucks, bicycles, pedestrian (walking), aviation, buses (public transportation), and the related facilities needed for an effective transportation system, The Plan assesses current transportation issues, identifies needs and challenges, and suggests action to address these problems and improve the transportation system throughout the region. The Plan also considers funding options for projects included in the Plan.
