Document Description
The Project consists of the construction of a major subdivision within a 143.1± acers. Two accesses to the project site would be constructed. Sean Street would intersect at Tehama Street, just south of County Road 53 and would then cross the Tehama Street Channel via a new bridge. The second access road would be an extension from Merrill Street, which would include the construction of a bridge over the Glenn Colusa Irrigation Canal. An emergency vehicle access road would be provided in the northeastern portion of the site. An eight (8) foot high sound wall would be constructed along the western boundary of the project to buffer the site. The project includes extending domestic water, sanitary sewers, and other utilities (i.e. electricity, telephone, cable television) and extending reclaimed water service to the proposed park. The proposed park would take place in the center of the site and take up 3.7 acres. Drainage would be collected via catch basins into a piped storm drain where water would then be transported into open space buffers that would discharge into a future storm water treatment area just south of the South Willows commercial Center site. A trail would run along east, west, and south perimeters of the proposed development.
