Document Description
The Byron Union School District is proposing an 15,596sf multipurpose building (cafeteria, library, theater and administration), a 16,035sf gymnasium, a 1,620sf shade structure, 150 new parking stalls and a new access road to the school off of Byer Road. One of the access points off of Byron Highway will become egress only and the other entrance will be closed. The construction will occur in three phases, with the first and second phase beginning in the spring of this year. Phase three will occur when State funding becomes available to the District in roughly 2-3 years. Phase 1 (14,757sf classroom building) was permitted under a previous environmental document and not included as part of the Mitigated Negative Declaration.
