Document Description
The Santa Barbara Campus proposes to convert an approximately 1.2-acre natural turf playing field to an approximately 2.2-acre artificial turf playing field. The project also proposes to replace mature trees removed as a result of the athletic field conversion project as a nearby location on the Storke Campus at the eastern edge of East Stroke Wetland to relocate, enhance, and expand raptor and other bird roosting and nesting habitat. Additional habitat restoration would take place at the tree replacement project area.
