The 2008 Master Plan identifies proposed potable water and wastewater CIP facilities (e.g., pump stations, lift stations, storage reservoirs, transmission mains) to meet projected water and wastewater demands within the VWD service area and sphere of influence by the year 2030. CIP facilities proposed in the 2008 Master Plan include 11 potable water pipeline projects, one wastewater lift station, and 29 wastewater pipeline projects, including a parallel land outfall project. The 2008 Master Plan includes a phased approach and outlines the CIP projects necessary to meet projected customer demands during the following time frames: up to 2010 (Phase 1); 2011-2015 (Phase 2); 2016-2020 ( Phase 3); 2021-2025 (Phase 4); and 2026-2030 (Phase 5).
