- The CA DFG is executing a Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works, for the Old Los Berros Culvert Repair and Duckbill Valve Replacement Project. The applicant proposes to apply concrete grout by hand to the interior of two (2) culverts, 48-inches in diameter and 60 feet long, to repair corroded portions. Two (2) damaged rubber duckbill check valves will be replaced with two (2) new stainless steel or cast iron flap gates. Minor sediment removal may occur at the apron of the existing headwall in order to access the duckbill valve.
