- CVRWQCB is issuing a Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certification to the applicant, Calmat Co. dba Vulcan Materials. Implementation of the proposed project is estimated to directly impact approx. 9.32 acres of waters, and indirectly impact 2.66 acres of waters, including vernal pools, swales, seasonal wetlands, and ponds. The 765 acre Fenston Ranch Conservation Site (Preserve) shall be preserved as off-site mitigation for impacts to waters that may result from the implementation of the Austin Quarry project.
