NOTE: Review Per Lead / Reference SCH #2010028037 To correct contamination of community drinking water systems in Richgrove and Rodriguez Farm Labor Camp, a new well is proposed to serve both communities. The well is anticipated to be ~600-700 ft in depth and is to be located in the NW corner of Tulare County APN 338-250-005. The water will be conveyed to the labor camp and Richgrove via 6-18" PCV water mains, with service connections for the labor camp and various local business. Also include in the project is a 275,000 gallon storage tank, to be constructed within an existing storm drain basin at the corner of Ave 8 and Richgrove Drive, and a booster pump station. A test well was completed in April-May 2010 and was declared Categorically Exempt under CEQA per Section 15308 (filed under SCH #2010028037).
