Document Description
Hearing on the request of Kim Wolf of Underground Energy Inc., agency for the owner Michael A. Carabini, to consider Case No. 09PPP-00000-00001 for the approval of an exploratory oil drilling and production plan. The project would be divided into two phases, exploration (Phase 1), and production (Phase 2), and would be developed on a pre-disturbed site containing approximately 2.13 acres on two existing pads; one for drilling and one for production facilities. Phase 1 activities would seek to confirm the oil bearing resource. Upon favorable results of Phase 1, Underground Energy proposes a consolidated well production facility for up to 26 wells and a water injection well. A compact drill site with 26 well slots is planned on the previous drill pad with consolidated production facilities for all of the wells and a produced water injection well located on the adjacent existing pad. Access to the project site area would be provided by an existing 14ft wide partially paved driveway of approximately four miles in length accessed via Foxen Canyon Road.
