Document Description
This project will construct a new 3,036 sf building on an existing dirt and paved lot, landscaping and paving for a parking lot. The area around the building and parking lot will be landscaped and a 30 ft "buffer zone" created between new building/paving and the top of the bank of Forbes Creek. Runoff from the site will be collected by downspouts and drop inlets and conveyed by underground storm drain pipes to two stabilized outfalls located in the "buffer zone" between the new construction and Forbes Creek. The runoff will then continue to be conveyed by open channel vegetated swales to a stabilized outfall along the southerly bank of Forbes Creek between the end of the existing retaining wall and the existing red willow tree. Approximately 14 linear ft of the south bank of Forbes Creek will be regraded to a maximum depth of 2 ft from the existing top of bank to construct a trapezoidal shaped vegetated swale outfall to convey runoff. Excavation will occur between the retaining wall and the red willow and will not impact the willow roots. Excavation volume on the bank of Forbes Creek is ~56 cy. No equipment will work in the water.
