Document Description
The Central Park Well No. 2 project (proposed project) involves the construction and operation of a new municipal groundwater well by Santa Clarita Water (SCWD), a Division of the Castaic Lake Water Agency (CLWA). The purpose of the proposed project is to provide for greater reliability and source capacity for the potable water supply system. The proposed well would serve to offset supply deficiencies in the wells in the eastern portion of the SCWD service area and reductions in the State Water Project deliveries by placing an additional groundwater well in the western portion of the groundwater basin where water levels remain relatively stable.
