Document Description
A general mainteance tree survey was performed at Oceano Dunes District- Pismo Beach State Parks. During the survey a total of seven trees were deemed Hazardous; as specified in the Department's-Tree Hazard Manual. Oceano Campgrounds: Five dead Monterey Pines will need to be Felled and only four of those to be Stump Ground; in North Beach Compground: Two Monterey Cypress' requires Trimming. A licensed Arborist will be contracted to perform all the tree work and remove all debris from the job site. Heavy equipment may be necessary; chipper, hydraulic boom, etc.; with proper accomodations (i.e. laying out plywood for soil protection) and proper use of equipment for the protection of natural, cultural and aesthetic resources and property will be in place prior to beginning work. Also, a resource staff will survey the work site (arch site, bird nest, legless lizards, etc.) prior to starting each days work and remain on site during the work day.
