Document Description
A general maintenance tree survey was performed at Oceano Dunes District - Pismo Beach State Parks: Oceano and North Beach Campgrounds; Monarch Grove; and OSSCRA Maintenance Yard. There are a total of two hundred fifty two trees that require: trimming, felling or evaluation (most likely removal). Of the total trees listed; one hundred eighty nine trees need trimming (disease, directional, dead or damaged limbs), and the remaining sixty three trees require felling (dead or dying).
A licensed arborist will be contracted to perform the three work and all debris will be removed from the job site. Chips will be hauled to the Interpretive Trail chip pile. Heavy equipment may be necessary; chipper, hydraulic boom, etc. There are no significant impacts in any of the areas where the tree work will be done. Areas shall be secured as standard safety procedure during the duration of work.
