Marysville Fire Department in cooperation with several smalll volunteer Fire Departments will conduct live fire training. The training will focus on mobile attack, gining engine companies the opportunity to improve fire suppression skills under live fire conditions. Fire control strategies and tacties will also be reviewed pertinent to the specific grass fuel models and the current year fuel conditios. The training will take place on a 20 acre private parcel of land outside of Marysville City within Local Responsibility Area. The property is best classified as flat agricultural grassland (Fuel Model 1) and has received regular disturbance through agricultural management activities that include burning, disking, and plowing.
