The purpose of this agreement is to produce, as part of DOE (Department of Energy) and the Energy Commission's Phase II for WESTCARB, methodologies, plans, data, technical papers, and reports that facilitate informed decisions by policymakers, communities, and businesses on how to productively invest in CCS technology development and deployment to achieve climate change mitigation objectives. DOE has authorized funding for this research in Arizona.
