Document Description
A new pipeline to connect into the MD 19A system will begin from the last manhole prior to connection to the City system. The manholes will be modified to accept lift pumps. The pipeline will parallel the existing collector pipeline with the exception that slope will be to the south instead of to the north, to the nearest intersection of a manhole and pipeline that runs to the County facility. Some mechanical upgrades to the County plant will have to be made as the plant is vintage mid-1960's. -Install a new flow meter at the headworks and new bar screen, -Modify the existing lift station to attenuate flows. -Deepen and line one of the two existing ponds to facilitate evaporation. -Install new blowers -Install new screw or belt press to address the additional solids separation and storage enclosure. -Install perimeter trees and irrigation system -Purchase equipment to mow the vegetation along berms and fencelines.
