Document Description
Implement a grant funded by CalEMA for the 2009/10 Fiscal Year, to help support the efforts of the Merced Multi-Agency Narcotic Task Force Anti-Drug Abuse Enforcement Program (ADA) to enhance narcotic enforcement in Merced County. The program will enhance law enforcement activities of local jurisdictions within the County with the District Attorney, Probation Department and State Department of Justice. The program does not include the seizure or removal of clandestine methamphetamine laboratories.

This program, as conditioned to exclude the seizure and removal of methamphetamine drug lab chemicals and equipment, is not a project to CEQA and further is exempt from CEQA as a law enforcement activity leading to criminal sanction, without any possibility of a significant effect on the environment.
