The proposed project is a minor subdivision of approximately 303 acres in the City of Weed to create a 22-acre parcel, 6-acre parcel, 44-acre parcel and a 230-acre remainder (APNs 060-531-160, 060-641-050 and 090). The parcel is zoned General Commercial and Open Space within the City of Weed Zoning Ordinance. No change in land use or zoning is being proposed. All improvements have been completed and the requested action is only a subdividing of land, which would have no environmental impacts.
It can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the proposed project has the potential to have a significant adverse effect on the environment and therefore the project is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) - Review for Exemption.
