Document Description
This project involves annual, routine road and trail maintenance on permanent, seasonal and temporary roads and trails on Jackson Demonstration State Forest. Minor road and trail maintenance activities include: surface drainage improvement, surface armoring, replacing minor drainage structures (not subject to a Department of Fish and Game Streambed Alteration Agreement), roadside vegetation management (including removal of invasive species, brushing, and non-commercial thinning of young trees), minor reroutes in efforts to minimize or prevent soil erosion or instability, installation of signs and markers, installation of barriers to block illegal access, and removing soil, rock and woody debris obstructions.
