Document Description
Trenches will be excavated parallel to the levee on the landward slope of the levee. The lower trench will be lined with filter fabric and a barrier to minimize water losses to areas outside of the study zone. The trenches will be filled with a coarse gravel (3 inch minus or equal) in order to stabilize them during the test. The gravel will then be sealed with a low viscosity grout upon completion of the test.
