Yontocket Cemetery Project
NOE - Notice of Exemption
The project consists of three components: exotic plant removal, fence installation, and trail removal and rehabilitation. Exotic plant removal will occur at three locations near Yontocket Cementery, totaling 0.25 and 0.33 acres respectiviely. At the first site, exotic plants will be removed by pulling, either by hand or weed wrench, and digging by hand to a depth no greater thatn 1 foot. At the second site St. John's wort will be mowed with brush cutters and coveredwith weed cloth or black plastic for a period of at least one year or until the exotic plant has been eradicated. At the third site, all eucalyptus > 8 inch. dbh will be cut down with chaninsaws.
Consists of construction and location of limited number of new, small facilities or structures; installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures; and the conversion of existing small structures from one use to another where only minor modifications are made in the exterior of the structure. Consists of minor public or private alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation, which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry and agricultural purposes.
