NOE - Notice of Exemption
Restore the Jack London Lake to historic conditions and upgrade its' existing drainage facilities in Jack London State Historic Park to prevent erosion and maintain the historic feature. Work will excavate approximately 25,000 cubic yards of sediment, seal the cracks and spaces in the dam and cap with mortar, excavate an 8'x8' square 18" deep, 42" wide, and 140 feet long in order to install a 24" reinforced concrete outlet pipe from the drop inlet box to a rock lined drainage swale. This drainage basin will be constructed approximately 115' to the east of the lake and will consist of a 20' by 30' basin lined 18 inches deep with 12-24" rocks, which will be grouted with 2500 PSI concrete. Additional work will repair and resurface approximately 623 linear feet of Vineyard Road.
