The jack-and-bore construction entails creating two jacking pits and two receiver pits, all within the public right-of-way. Most of the work would be performed at night to limit traffic impacts; nighttime work will not be conducted on the Brass Lane portion of the project, which is a residential street, in order to prevent noise impacts on these residences. The remainder of the project site is an industrial and commercial area that would not be affected by nighttime noise.
