Document Description
Due to the flat topography of the City of Imperial, system pressure in areas of the distribution system has dropped below acceptable levels. A new High Service Booster Station will replace the existing High Service Booster Station in order to supply an equal amount of treated water but providing higher discharge pressure. The project will include the replacement of the existing standby electrical generator to handle the increased electrical loads associated with higher horsepower pumping units, suction and discharge piping necessary to connect the new booster station, and chlorination equipment modifications.
