Document Description
Note: FYI Final
Western Area Power Administration (Western) has prepared a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for its facilities in the San Joaquin Valley and nearby areas. The project encompasses approximately 115 miles of transmission lines and associated rights-of-way, 28 miles of access roads, seven substations, and one maintenance facility. The Proposed Action would update Western's existing Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Program to include all transmission lines, associated legal access roads, substations, and the maintenance facility into one comprehensive Master O&M Program. Proposed operation and maintenance activities include, but are not limited to, facility inspection/repair, vegetation management, and equipment upgrades.
