The primary objective of the proposed project is to close the Hely Creek Woodwaste Disposal Site by completely removing the woodwaste from the waste management unit, processing/sorting the waste to remove uncharacteristic wastes, and applying the waste to the site as a silvicultural soil amendment. A second objective of the proposed project is to monitor the effectiveness of the closure for a 3 yr period or longer based on water quality results.
