Document Description
The 1.27 mile-long road improvement project from 0.40 mile north of Pamela Lane to Cantelow Road consists, in general, of extending the existing pavement section from approximately 20-21 foot widths to a 24-foot pavement width to meet current County standards, constructing 4-foot earth shoulders, and overlaying the existing roadway. To enhance safety, a 0.30 mile section of Gibson Canyon Road from approximately 0.53 miles north of Pamela Lane to 0.30 miles north will be reconstructed to improve a substandard curve on the road. Other improvements include roadside drainage improvements, signing, striping, and erosion control. Utility poles will be relocated by the utility owners.
