Document Description
The project is a Zoning Ordinance Amendment (ZOA) only and does not authorize any specific construction project. The ZOA would allow modification with a Use permit of any zoning requirement applicable to a change, expansion, or reconstruction of an existing public branch library being carried out pursuant to Measure FF, a local bond measure passed in 2008. The branch libraries subject to the ZOA are: north (1170 The Alameda), Claremont (2940 Benvenue Ave.), South (1901 Russell St.) and West (1125 University Ave.).
