The proposed project includes distinctly separate components. The proposed project includes a zone change only on the Fortino site. No development is proposed on this parcel. The proposed zone change is from Open Space to Commercial Industrial. For the larger Monterey Road Commercial Center site, the proposed project includes a zone change, also from Open Space to Commercial Industrial, a proposed subdivision of 17 commercial lots and one floodway easement on the 20-acre parcel, and demolition of existing buildings and structures.
