Document Description
On May 22, 2019 the Department of Water Resources (DWR) approved the 2019 addendum to the 2010 Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Engineering Geotechnical Studies for a Delta Conveyance Program. This addendum was related to 12 drill holes and 7 cone penetration tests due to commence on properties for which access was obtained through a court order. The exploration activities and tentative locations were described in the 2010 MND. A 2013 addendum analyzed the potential for changes to effects based on the extension of time to conduct the explorations. The 2019 addendum considers changes in administration support and direction for a Delta Conveyance and consideration of potential changes in the environment that may have occurred between 2013 and the date of this analysis. With this analysis DWR has determined that the criteria set forth in Sections 15162 are are not triggered and an addendum provides the appropriate CEQA coverage to proceed with the planned 2019 explorations.
