Document Description
Project proponent is requesting a Use Permit to place a used, wooden, dual faced 12 x 60 ft billboard on vacant property. Billboard was damaged while in the City of Redding and is proposed for transfer to this site. City staff have recommended mitigation measures. An oak tree was proposed for removal by the project sponsor which is not permitted but a mitigation measure will allow it to be trimmed but not removed according to the State Department of Fish and Game. Additional mitigation measures address night sky pollution and visual clutter.
