A Renewal and Modification of Conditional Use/Surface Mining permits for an existing quarry operation known as the Fort Seward Rock Pit near Fort Seward. The current project proposes a total extraction volume of 15,000 cy. Mining may consist of extractions as large as 5,000 cy, or smaller extractions, as frequently as annually. The permit term is 15 yrs amd, if approved, will expire on May 24, 2024.
